Shipment & Delivery

Sandali Tipici ships worldwide by international courier DHL.

Orders are processed on the first available business day after your order is placed. In most cases your order will arrive within a couple of days.

The purchased products (by credit card, paypal, cash-on-delivery or bank transfer) will be shipped and delivered by DHL from Monday to Friday, thus excluding Saturdays, Sundays and local and/or national public holidays.

You can track your order at any time: once your items are shipped yuo will receive an email containing the tracking number to check the shipping and delivery status of your order. Sandals are shipped until delivery at our own risk and along delivery confirmation.

Shipping times depend on the delivery country:

  • Shipments in Italy require 1 working day except Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia and Basilicata and smaller islands where the standard delivery is 2 working days);
  • Shipments in EU countries will be processed and delivered within 1-3 days (except remote areas);
  • non-EU shipments of items subject to CITES certificate (exotic skins such as python and crocodile protected by the Washington Convention) will undergo 1-2 weeks delay and 30 Euros surcharge required by the CITES certificate and local Forestry authorities.

Please inspect merchandise immediately upon delivery before the carrier leaves. If you detect visible physical damage or missing items, refuse the package.

Contact us immediately if damage has been detected.

If you receive damaged merchandise or do not receive it at all, the carrier will need to conduct an investigation.

Please notify us immediately about the problem within 3 business days of receipt.

All claims are usually processed within 2 weeks from the time of initiation.

Deliveries are made at the latest within 30 days from the date of finalisation of the contract or by a different deadline that may be agreed with the Customer (except where cases of force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances occur, such as sudden faults with the machinery and other events outside the Seller’s control that may make impossible or delay the delivery within the agreed terms).

Return and Exchange Instructions

Any other reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please return the item to us within 14 days providing the item is in NEW (unopened, unused, untested and resalable) condition and follow the simple steps outlined in FAQ about Return and Exchange Instructions.

Winter working hours: Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 16:30 to 20:30

Summer working hours: Monday to Sunday from 09:45 to 13:40 and from 16:00 to 22:45

Purchase taxes and fees

VAT and additional taxes are included in the price of all items on the website.

We ship through DHL using DDP(Delivery Duty Paid) method for the EU countries. For countries outside the UE, the courier may give you a separated invoice from local authorities for extra duties. We invite you to verify local taxes and duties before placing an order on Sandali Tipici Shop.

Withdrawals and returns

The customer has the right to rescind the contract, without stating the reason, within 14 days provided the product is returned undamaged, unused and untested including the original tags and packaging. The customer is kindly requested to send back the products without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days of the date when he/she has notified his/her withdrawal from the present contract. The term is observed if the customer returns the Products before the expiry of the previously mentioned 14-days period (2011/83/UE).

The customer shall return the Product at his/her own expenses, attaching the pre-printed and pre-paid label provided together with the Product to the packaging of the Product. The customer is solely responsible for the value reduction of the goods resulting from the handling of the Product(s) other than that strictly necessary to establish the nature, features and functioning of the Product(s).
